just realized, it was my theme making the placeholder text white so it wasn’t showing up on the screen. thanks for the help.

Unfortunately that plugin does not help.

Seems like this is a flaw of the theme or I have setup the menus incorrectly. Please advise if there is a way the menus need to be setup or if this is a known flaw.

I read through the article but permalinks wouldn’t be affecting the menu.
The menu has custom links to each section of the website when on the front page. How do I go to those pages when on the blog page? This is a native feature of the theme. Thanks.

there is no link to the blog on the menu right now but you can access it by going to dastouri.ca/blog

is there a way to make it extend down to fit the entire page?

On my laptop it looks find but on a larger screen, the image does not extend down to the height of the screen.
Do I need a larger image?
