Hi, this can’t be done if you are using the default Pinterest javascript methods. That is Pinterest doing that. If you are using our methods via adding a custom image, then you can control exactly what image is being shared. Additionally, if you’re talking about the hover image, you can add a no-pin class to any image to make the hover button ignore that image. There may be a setting where you can add a class to all thumbnail images for your youtube embeds. If this doesn’t help, please email [email protected] for support.

Since there is no sharing mechanism, there is no way for us to include a button that will share your content to Instagram.
