Also having this problem. Tried running both scripts in mySQL – no bueno.

I deleted it off all of my sites a few days after it was pulled from the repository. I didn’t know about the default sitemap, either! I do manage a lot of sites that either have CPTs or use templates that might otherwise be indexed if not excluded. But I mostly use SEOPress Pro, so that covers it.

I’ve checked another random dozen sizes, I don’t have any unknown php files.

If you want to know what the file is, open the file in an editor and see what it says, or google the file name.

I’ve checked a random half dozen of my sites, no mplugin.php file to be found.

There was an update 3 days ago.

I really hope this full review is quick. It’s all-time installation total is almost 30 million sites. I’ve got it on 34 sites, and while I can use the AIOSEO sitemaps or the SEO Press sitemaps, I just don’t have the spare time to make the changes to that many sites.

I tested on both GTmetrix and Google Page Speed.

The feature that was automatically activated (a month or two ago) was the sitemap. I was already running a sitemap plugin (on all 80 sites that I manage), AIOSEO even notified me of that, so y’all knew what you were doing but chose to auto-activate that function. Bad manners to assume I’d want to replace something I’d already configured.

Other than the blank screen and no ability to actually edit or enter the robots.txt information and the deletion of the robots.txt file I’m not having the insane issues of whole pages being broken and uneditable.

Most of my sites are using Genesis theme or Beaver Builder theme.

I get that you’re looking to make money, but alienating long-time users isn’t going to do it.

Related problem. It’s interfering with deleting posts.

I’ve been using this plugin for years and really hope it’s a temporary removal (those have happened due to security issues, I’m guessing this is a GDPR issue). I hope whatever it is gets resolved or someone else takes it over and I don’t have find another solution and replace it on scores of sites.

Changing the plugin should only be done by the developer.
