Did you ever find a solution to this? Trying to do that and resize the font, can’t find a solution, driving me crazy!

I just installed the Async JS and CSS plugin and it seems to have resolved both the CSS and javascript issues mentioned. My site seems to be way faster now, although my ranking on the google speed recommendations is still not great. The total cache plugin totally messes up my site for some reason.

I too have a site hosted by homestead (currently) that I desperately want/need to change over to wordpress.

I can’t tell you how many hours I’ve spent trying to figure out how to do this. I probably spent 2 hours alone trying to get my ‘plugins’ or ‘permalink’ to show up on my wordpress.com account, to finally learn that I need www.ads-software.com to install a plugin. I thought I had a pretty good understanding of how websites worked until I started to dabble with wordpress.

Can you in any way spell out what I need to do to transfer this existing site to www.ads-software.com for a super-newbie?

On the previous post I see: “So, I just transferred the dns to my domain host, and purchased a web hosting package. Then I successfully installed wordpress, through cpanel and fantastico (I tried to do it manually, but I have lame skills).” but I do not understand what that means.

I have a web hosting package already but I can’t figure out the wordpress portion of it.

Any thoughts/help would be greatly, greatly, greatly appreciated!
