In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Search on Table valuesHi Tobias … re WordPress Search, I decided to try installing Relevanssi (free version) search plugin, which replaces the default WP search.
I was able to regain access to the Tablepress content when searching my site.
There was a list of options for content to select, when configuring Relevanssi settings, and I saw Tablepress in the list, so I selected it. Seems to have provided a workaround for now.
Regards

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] No Table Results in WP Search* bump *
Yes, good luck tracking down this search gremlin. Observed the same recently on my site (JazzBoulevard.ca) … suddenly Tablepress content is no longer being parsed by the search widget.
The site is currently allowing automatic WP updates to be installed so must have been a recent one that broke something.
… same observation here. After updating to Elementor 1.6 today, the Elementor Text Widget no longer displays the text content of the widget … in the editing field (the field is blank but the text still appears on the website.)
Switched off TablePress plugin and functionality returned to the Elementor Text widget.
Note, another Elementor text widget, the Heading Widget, was not affected and continues to operate. This is only in the latest 1.6 version. In the immediately previous version of Elementor (1.5.x) there was no conflict between TablePress and Elementor. Advised Elementor support as well.
Hey Tobias … Yes the v1.7 update returned the functionality … Thanks … Cheers!
