In reply to: [Subscribe to Category] Swedish languageAh ok, I see.
I can just as well contribute directly with the translation in WordPress, right? I’d be happy to do that within a week or so.
Thank you all for helping out, clarifying things.

Thanks for joining in, helping out!
Yes, the headline of the log is “Login attempts”. I must have misunderstood the concept of blocking. I interpreted it as this: tat the same IP-address could not try another login attempt for as long as I’ve set the time. And although I know they never sleep I thought it wouldn’t show in a log. I don’t mind that they do, it’s just I’m a bit worried.
Oh wow! No, before I read your post I was bit thoughtful. Now I’m not at all sure!
Thanks for joining me in this Chris! Yes, it would be great if someone could explain this.
I used to have that same setting, one hour. Just trying to find ways to tweak this. Thinking maybe I misunderstood that timing thing. So I was just about to switch back. But it seems it doesn’t matter what we put in there. They don’t get blocked anyway./Cecilia

In reply to: [Anissa] Image SizingNow I see what you mean. At least I think so:
The image in your blog post is smaller than the “container” for images in the blog roll so it blows your images up to fit that container. Which leads to the images not appearing the way you want since it takes a portion of it and it’s also too big.The image you upload is 225 px wide and 300 px high and that is what is shown in you blog post. For the blog roll it makes another version of the file that is 400 px wide and 300 px high.
1. So one way of getting control of what the photo will look like is to change the file size before uploading to (at least) 400 px wide.
It would still be as big but you would be in charge of what the image will look like.2. If you want to change the container itself in the blog roll so the images don’t turn out so big at all you would need to make changes in the CSS. Are you familiar with CSS?
Your current setting is:
element {
display: inline;
}
.featured-image img {
width: 100%;
height: auto;
}When I change the above to this, the image presents itself smaller and is centered.
element {
display: block;
}
.featured-image img {
width: 50%;
height: auto;
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
}/Cecilia

In reply to: [Anissa] Missing .pot-file: translation-ready?This topic is not solved but I have given up. I don’t know why the theme creators consider this theme to be Translation Ready since the translation file does not contain the strings that need to be translated. In order to translate this theme you need to make the changes directly in the php-files.
I wouldn’t call this topic resolved but I’ve given up and have changed which posts that show up in the carousel, i.e. you will not be able to see what I mean following the link.

In reply to: [Anissa] Header IssuesFirst of all, beautiful site. Well done you!
And secondly, mea culpa my mistake.
Scratch the above and do this instead:
Change the 20px to zero for .site-branding.Your current setting:
.site-branding {
border-bottom:20px solid #343434;
}
Change to:
.site-branding {
border-bottom:0px solid #343434;
}I tried it out with just 1px, just to see what that looked like. Not too bad really, try it out ??
Have a great morning/lunch/evening.

In reply to: [Anissa] Header IssuesI’m sorry I don’t know why it’s not working. Unless it’s perhaps the cache “trap” I’ve stepped into a couple of times myself. I make a change and don’t see any difference, due to the browser is showing a cached version, i.e. the old looks.
Do you have the theme live somewhere?Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Anissa] Carousel Display only 1 of 6Ok, some glitch then. Glad it worked out alright.
