Also misleading is the option in the products SEO visibility. Setting those to YES, but setting the overall Search Appearance for Products to NO, does not generate a sitemap at all.
Better would be a products SEO visibility with just “NO” or “Override NO”. Otherwise it follows the Search Appearance for Products sitemap setting.
