It sounds like you’re using some URL re-writing to get around your sub-directory/root? If that is the case, I don’t think this plugin will help you. It simply reports on the WordPress configured path/URL.

However, if the URL/path configured in WordPress is not the URL/path rendered by this plugin, then there’s obviously a problem (and I’d appreciate any additional details you have). I’ve just double-checked it on a few installs (a mix of root/sub-directory), and it is working as I’d expect.
