@htmgarcia nope that doesn’t help – same behaviour seen on the InstaWP site

Hi @rochdesigns all the images seem to load OK that way , although that’s not the behaviour we want (see Instawap site for a better representation – not sure what’s happening on the test site re size of images).

Just to take this a bit further, and to 100% rule out any hosrting issues, I’ve spun up a free InstaWP account and imported the carousel to that. Same results on safari. Carousel is at the bottom of the page

Site is vanilla 2024 with only the metaslider plugin installed

Hi @rochdesigns sorry I meant to add that info! No caching at all at the moment as I’m not at that stage of development yet (I usually use WP Fastest Cache) and nothing built into the hosting

Hi @mdashikul did this ever get resolved as I see a definite CLS shift when I add a slider to the page. Not an issue if the slider is further down the page, but very noticeable if ‘above the fold’. The page in question can be seen here – you need to do a hard refresh (ctl f5) to see it in action.

Hi lidia sorry for not getting back to you – I did try what you suggested and it made no difference at all. However I have just retested today and it looks fine on multiple sites / browsers …. very odd. Thanks for your help (and patience)

Edge on safari is slightly worse – no star ratings showing in the reviews and no ‘G’ for google showing either

Exactly what I was looking for, thanks! I Just needed to set a custom breakpoint for columns with a just giving widget to stop overflow. I’m using the astra (pro) theme and managed to get this working by applying a custom css class of ‘donate-columns’ to the columns block and adding the following (slightly simplifed) code:

/*Set custom breakpoint for just giving donation columns */
@media (max-width: 982px) {
.donate-columns {
flex-wrap: wrap !important;
flex-basis: 100% !important;
}

Same issue – but as Smash Balloon are usually totally on top of API changes (See Instagram feeds breaking every now and again!) I thought I’d ask here if there’s a solution – because if there is one, then they’ll be the first to fix it. At the moment looks like no way to embed your Twitter timeline, thanks Elon …

I also just did a fresh install on InstaWP and tried to embed a feed (free plugin) – same error showing as @schilly

Thanks Manuel – to clarify is that for the free plugin or the paid one? And is there an ETA for the free one?

*I don’t have the plugin (free or otherwise) installed on any sites yet but am exploring options to fix existing embeds
