When you add a download the add-on creates a page, and when you add the download link it automatically creates the associated button embedded in the download page.

Is that page visible to everyone or just to the administrator?

If everyone sees it, in the page url you can see / sdm_donwload / and the button already created automatically, so you have to hide or redirect that page to another page, where it is added but using shortcode and that allows you to centralize the button, that lets combine it with membership partial shortcode to hide the button to non-members but not the download page…

That’s why I asked if that was what the second plugin did, to hide / sdm_downloads / in the url

And if it is possible to hide the button created by automatic default when adding the download, without affecting the button added by shortcode in the description section, to leave only the original download page
