I have been dealing with this as well. three quarters of my post are listed with GSC as noindex yet they are not constructed that way. I have been using Yoast premium for 3 yrs and I have been getting them involved. While they seems to think I can creating the issue somehow, this is not the case.
They suggest I go through those post, check each out then resubmit. In my case, that’s literally 100’s of post!
I sometimes feel that it is simply Google exercising their dominance over some content or posters.
It’s like kicking a 50 ton sponge, no real effect.
So frustrating!
