In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Internal server errorWe were already using 5.6. Switched back to 5.4 to see if that helped. +/-CGI doesn’t make a difference, either. There are a few additional tools that were automatically installed during the version change, I discovered, and I’m trying to figure out if one of them is causing problems. I’ve had errors related to Zend OPcache and Zend Engine API, but no idea if those are related to this plugin. Would be great if the company paid attention to how many people are having problems, but they’re clearly focused on selling and supporting their other products.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Internal server errorhallrar,
Your calendar is working now–what did you do to solve the problem??We have been having the same problem. No luck figuring out the root problem, and no response from developers. I can’t even export the events to a different plugin because the calendar page is not working.
Same have also had the same problem here–the next month tab displaying current month text. Clicking to the next month (this was back in April) brought the same error message jpketz reports. We do not use iThemes or a cache plugin. Once we actually entered May, the calendar stopped working entirely, now throwing 500 Internal Server Error.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] "View All Events" link not workingFollowing. Calendar page stopped working on our site completely. Some filtered shortcode views work, but can’t navigate to unfiltered, “all events” view.
jacksondems.com/sample-page (moved it here for troubleshooting)
This is the full description of the problem I’m having:
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/the-month-of-may-is-gone-two-aprils-no-may?replies=3thomjob–is this similar to what’s happening on your sites?
Update: The calendar page stopped working completely once we got to May, only getting errors when trying to navigate to any page that displays the full calendar. That means on the main calendar page, and on any page with a shortcode filtered calendar–on filtered views, it seems to work normally until I try to change the filter or click to the full calendar. I’ve gotten 500, 404, and 504 errors.
I moved the Time.ly calendar to a different page for testing:?

We also have calendar views on these pages:
https://jacksondems.com/groups/women/ ? Shortcode with filter, poster board view. Works fine when switching views and navigating to past/future, but only with the current filter.
https://jacksondems.com/2016/02/election-dates-deadlines/ ? Shortcode with filter, page won’t appear at all no matter which view is set.?
https://jacksondems.com/ ? Sidebar widget on home page, looks fine. Clicking on “view calendar” produces 500 error.
I really need some help on this! Even if we change to a different plugin, there is no way I know of to export all of our events without being able to view the calendar. If I could get this thing working that would be awesome, but at the very least I don’t want to have to recreate every single event.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] PHP 7 related errorHave you found any information about this issue? The calendar stopped working on our site, and it was shortly after we changed the php settings, so I’m wondering if that might be an underlying issue. Php 5.6

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Unable to Change Theme OptionsJanekaos, do you know if the caching is governed by the plugin, or something on the server? I’ve never used a chache plugin before.
Thanks for the suggestion,

In reply to: [Participants Database] Calculate age from date fieldWould this also be a way to calculate and display “Firstname Lastname” rather than the two separate fields? I’d like to be able to display alphabetized but conventionally displayed names without using two separate columns.
We’re using a plugin called Media Library Assistant (MLA) to manage images and import image metadata into WordPress, and one key field for image files is “PersonInImage” (populated by photoshop and other image software). Since the people in the images are the same people as the ones listed in our Participants Database, I’m thinking about ways to coordinate the two datasets. It should be possible to use MLA to create a tag cloud of names (pulled from the image attachment metadata) and set the links to the pdb single record page. Then the MLA gallery shortcode could generate a gallery of all images in which that person is tagged. I haven’t looked very far into the single record page yet, but it’s dynamically generated, yes? So I can create one page with the rules for what should display for each individual’s record?
I guess it does make more sense to manage calculated data (like age, or this combination of two fields) on the display end, rather than in a distinct field.
