Yes, the rest of the site will be hidden only the site offline page will show. In the same browser where you are logged in site offline effect will not be visible. So please check in private browser mode or different browser or device after activate site offline mode.

Admin can view pages by login into WordPress dashboard. He can view full sites in same browser where he is logged in WordPress dashboard.
Hi I checked it is working fine now. Some times Google takes few hours in updates. So no worries about it. Even sometimes Google updates meta in within a week or 2 weeks
