I managed to fix the problem, I think Id created a child theme in the wrong way. When I Edited the CSS.Style file in the wrong way.

I reinstalled that and it now all works perfectly well. Thanks.

Thanks, I thought that should be the case, but I’ve double checked and for some reason its not there and it’s also not in the screen options section either?

What would you suggest doing?

Should I download the theme again?

I had to change the second CSS edit a little to include a top margin to be exactly inline with the sidebar image.

Thanks for that, the code is great however it doens’t quite align with the other pages and feature images – this is the page I’ve just added the code to: https://chaosandtravel.com/blog/

but this is what I want it to look like: https://chaosandtravel.com/about-us/ – the idea is that it is aligned with the sidebar top image. Feature image here is 868 px wide and 308 px height (original image 1350×480) same dinmesions for the image I want to add to the blog page.

This is way above my head in coding so I’m to have to as for more help, but anything you can suggest would be great?

Thanks again, but unfortunately I can’t use that code as I tested it and it moves my home page slider and menu left as well. Any other suggestions?

Thanks, so far all is good everywhere else. However in relation to the bullet points is there anyway of universally setting a bigger left indent for bullet points?

https://chaosandtravel.com/ Sorry here is the link. You can see on the home page the first bit of text has 3 bullet points that I wanted to insert but instead it is just indented.

Sorry to re-open this however, I previously used this code and it worked well, but then today I updated the theme to the new 2.4.1 then made a child theme of this and added in the Custom CSS code again, but this time it doesn’t save, nor do may other CSS edits I added to the previous version.

When I save this code specifically it only saves this any nothing else:

@media all and (min-width: 1200px) {

Any idea’s of why this is happening, or whether with the new update there is slightly different code I need to use?

Thanks for the help, I have made the changes as suggested to the archive/categories results and as you suggested using the full excerpt worked as I wanted it too.

Search function I will have to look into once I’ve created a child theme, however can you tell me what I have to replace in the search.php file to make the results show up as full excerpt?
