Hi Any update on this? It’s hard looking at our old posts that had lots of shares and then seeing that number as 0 now.

When we moved our blog we moved it from an older WP install to a new WP install, so it was a different WPEngine account/server, though the URL is now the same.

We exported blog content from one to the other and I installed a new digg digg plugin on the new one.

This is the code we used: [orbit-slider numberposts=”3″]

and we have the settings set for the slides to slide horizontally, but nothing happens.

also, not sure why they are so large. each image is sized 260 x 40

FYI, I followed all these steps exactly when installing:

Upload the wp-orbit-slider folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
Create your slides by clicking on ‘Slides’ in your administration menu and selecting ‘Add New Slide’. As default the slider ONLY uses the featured image attached to any given slide.
Use the shortcode [orbit-slider] in the content area of a page or post where you want the image slider to appear.

Ah, okay, so this is definitely a theme-related issue? I will contact their support. Also have WPEngine looking into it for us too.

Yeah, I asked our programmer about it and he gave me another login with admin privileges, so that fixed it. Thank you very much!!

Just clicked on the “thank you for creating your site with WordPress” link at the bottom of the dashboard and it took me to www.ads-software.com, so I’m really puzzled now. I clicked on screen options to see if there were any views unchecked, but everything is checked. Is there any place to customize the dashboard menu that I might be able to find it??

I was wondering that. I’m logged in as an admin and the site is currenlty hosted on a personalized URL, so there’s no WP in the URL… How do I find out for sure? And if it is, how in the world do I transfer it??

Yes, the address changed. It is being staged on wpengine before going live. Is there a way to get the counts back?
