GTM is preferred, but I cannot do without GA.

I am having trouble tracking Amazon Associate links using Java Script button clicks in GTM. I cannot get it to work yet. I am reading through all of Simo Ahava posts on his blog to determine a solution.

I did the following:

a) I Disconnected Analytics from Site Kit
b) I Disconnected Search Console from Site Kit
c) I Disconnected PageSpeed Insights from Site Kit
d) I Disconnected Tag Manager from Site Kit
e) I disconnected from Google Site Kit doing a full Admin Reset
f) I reconnected to Google and allowed permission and only set up Google Analytics.

Real-Time Reporting showing active users as I am typing. So I hope I am one again operational and tracking statistics on my site.

I disconnected and reconnected.

Google analytics reports Snippet not inserted, but GTM says Snippet is inserted.
When

Everything is green in G Site Kit, however real-time screen in GA is not reporting anything.

Do I do a reset, under Admin settings?

I just removed the link to GTM.But can not see any access via the GA real time report at all.

I used your links and resolved the double count for page buttons on my main web page. I had an alternate test post that referenced your Meta code “[meteor_slideshow]”. As soon as I remove the Post, the problem was solved!!!

Update: the double amount of page buttons, only occurs on the main page. This does note carry over to all my posts, and pages. Each individual page and posts shows the correct amount of buttons. Which is 15 in this case. Unfortunately the main page shows 30 buttons.

I had already installed Meteor Slides in when using my twenty fourteen theme.

BTW: Is any thing else (settings, graphics, etc.) also missed when using the Child theme. For the most part my entire site came over (posts, pages, etc.) to the child except for the header. I may be missing some other points.

Follow-up, the parent looks fully installed when I am running off the child, just all my Header Image Graphic settings do come over.

All posts and pages are there with graphics.

Only all my Header Image Graphics do not come over, although all my photos are available.
