Yes, it was a multi-site installation. I went into my wp_config and just changed multisite to false some time ago since I may want to return to a true multi-site installation at some point. Should I just make it a real multi-site and see if that fixes the error?
The error was a 503 error that prompted me to look in errors.logThanks,
Thanks. I’m not seeing anything in the pro version of Echo KB that would allow me to do what I need to do so I may need to go in a different direction. Unfortunately their support was less than helpful when I reached out. (I’ve never heard back from my questions.) I really appreciate all the time you put into this. Thanks.
To clarify, would it filter only what is showing up in those boxes or ALL knowledge base articles?
And the filter widget would show up in the KB sidebar if that’s where it’s placed in Appearance > Widgets.
And this is something you could help me with if I purchase a pro license?
My use case would be that one of my fields is book title, so if they chose that filter, they would get all wiki articles with that title checked in the book field as an example. Thank you.Hi,
I’ve reached out to the KB plugin’s support to get your answer about WP_Query, though my guess is that yes, that’s how the plugin works. Will update when I hear. Let me try to answer your other questions.
1) Yes, the plugin is Echo Knowledge Base available here in the repository. I am using the free version.
2) I believe it does. See the filter screen image listed below where the post type says Kit’s_wiki
3) The filter will display in the sidebar of the individual article pages. See the link and the screen image provided. I have placed the filters widget in the kb sidebar widget area. (See screen image)

Hi,
I provided three screen images with my very first post. The first one being the admin posts page that shows what it was pulling for the excerpt. The second is the smart tag and the third was what was being sent to social media sites.
I am restricting the post with my membership plugin, so it is possible now that I’m thinking about it, that is preventing the excerpt from being pulled, but I am also certain I’ve seen this issue on general pages built with the divi plugin builder in the past and before I installed any membership component.
At this point, I will simply be aware of the issue and work with it, as I have duplicated this issue on two sites now (the second one just today) and will simply double check excerpts before posting these very specific posts that I use Divi for. Otherwise I am using the regular block builder which seems to have no outstanding issues in this regard.Unfortunately toggling that setting on broke the Divi builder. I guess your plugin isn’t compatible with Divi, after all.
Thank you for your reply. I am not sure I understand. According to the screen image, the smart tag “post excerpt” is in that box. The excerpt box is empty on the post, and it should pull the first 50 words or so. Instead, it’s pulling the divi code.
So if I am understanding correctly, if I use the Divi builder on a post, I will have to make the additional step of putting in a manual excerpt so it doesn’t pull the Divi code. This means your plugin is not compatible with divi, which is not what your website says.

In reply to: [Mooberry Book Manager] php errorI had a book grid created that I hadn’t put on a page yet, yes. Now it’s at https://kitauthor.com/muse-happens
My other book grids are on the front page and then on the books and genre pages.I turned off debug, alas, as I’m having divi issues, but can turn it on again or if there’s another plugin you recommend (I’ve been using wp debug)

In reply to: [Mooberry Book Manager] php errorHi,
I don’t have a specific page. It showed up in my error log for kitauthor.com What I sent is what is in the log.
Sorry, it took me a bit to get back to it. There were no “default wp login page” options there. I saw just the login pages created by PMPro and Directorist (which I did not use), so I left it as is with the IP whitelist in place. It’s a shame, because I really like PMPro and have used it for years (even held a license at one point, but just can’t afford it anymore), but I can’t recommend it to my clients if it doesn’t work with 2FA.

In reply to: [ActivityPub] Profile url goes to home page on multisiteOkay thanks. I thought that might be the case, but wanted to ask.
Would it be possible to put in a feature request to maybe be able to choose the page it directs to? Or even just a radio button that would say home/blog and it’d pick up whatever you have set in settings? That way I could point it right at my blog page.
Appreciate the fast reply and on a holiday too. Thank you again!Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [WooCommerce PayPal Payments] Does Not Support Subscriptions Out of the BoxNo, it’s a plugin from a different company: Payment Plugins. If you copy/paste that name into the repository, it’ll come up for you and you’ll see.
