Can you please try deactivating and deleting Jetpack entirely, and then trying to reinstall it?

To remove Jetpack, you can FTP into your site and delete the folder wp-content/plugins/jetpack. (If you’re not sure how to do this, ask your hosting company for help.)

After that’s done, you can reinstall Jetpack by following these instructions:

It sounds like a previous installation attempt failed, but didn’t get cleaned up so the folder is still there. Could you login to your site via FTP/SFTP or the file manager in your host’s admin panel and delete the Jetpack folder in wp-content/plugins?

I took a look at the site and it seems that the server is just really slow to respond to the first request, around 10-15 seconds in my testing. If there’s no more optimization that your host can help you with, it might be worth looking into alternative hosting companies that offer better performance.

Yeah, that’s the best course of action to ensure all the changes you’ve made on your local install get added to your live site. Copy all the files and migrate the database as well.

Looks like this is working properly now, I’m able to view the pages on your site and am not seeing any 404s.

What information did your web host give you regarding the site’s speed? It does seem to be loading much faster for me now.

It sounds like the HTTP error has something to do with either your browser or host timing out on the upload of large files.

As for uploading via FTP, just navigate to the wp-content/uploads folder and drill down to the current year and month and whatever you upload there will appear in your Media Library.

What error message are you seeing exactly?

Have you checked with your web host to see if they have any ideas or information on why the site is loading so slowly? Also, have you considered updating to the latest version of WordPress?

Embedding audio is a feature of WordPress itself, have you looked at https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Audio_Shortcode ?
