I have maybe a similar problem. Im using the newest Version of WordPress and your plugin. On click in the image library the smush button of a specific image nothing happend. No loading indicator and also after some minutes no response. The optimization of all images via settings page and the while uploading images works fine but needs a lot of time (7 to 15 seconds per image). In the developer log of the plugin is no error and also my server log doesnt give me any error.

What could I do now?

Dear Diana,

Im running Salient (not free).
The Customizer is the wordpress build in version and no plugin. Since WordPress 4.7 it has more features and you can edit menus in a new way there.
I changed my menu the first time about this Customizer and the plugin options at a menu item are gone. In developer console of the chrome browser there are no errors which could make this problem. I hope you can understand me now.

I analysed the problem in detail and the bug just happend with images that use the wordpress defined sizes like thumbnail medium and big.
Hope this can help!

– Full integration of Visual Composer (Background img, link buttons, etc. not working)
– Maybe the possibility to generate amp sites manually for choosen sites (f.e. just for my high traffic pages f.e. that would be nice)
– Featured Images and Inline images should be get the same display size like on standard page without strech or something like that
– Customizer for own Design/ Color Composement
