Seems like it’s back up…probably just some bs hosting billing issue…they can be crazy sometimes.

While I truly love Magic Fields, I found the best solution to this problem lies here:

So grateful for MF and MF2, but this plugin does everything it can do (and more), with far less bugs.

My field of “project_link” is a SUB field. I needed to use get_sub_field, rather than get_field.

I ALWAYS figure it out RIGHT after posting this. But hey, whatever works, amirite?!

I wish I had a answer for you but I just wanted to bump this because I am in very much need of having Multipost MU use Custom Post Types. And perhaps you figured it out?! ??

That was is, Stuartt. I had to enable the “Editor” to get this to work.

Which is kind of a bummer…I’d really love to keep it clean for the client so they wouldn’t need to scroll past this large editor box just to get to the image upload (it’s for a very simple portfolio/gallery setup).

Yes. It’s really odd, I had no problem with that site (and also ran a bunch of plugins).

So now basically I am only getting partial TinyMCE (per my screenshot).

Seems like something very simple…

Oh and I should mention that I have another site that is running 3.3.1 along with Magic Fields 2 and I don’t get this problem at all!

What do you think would cause this from install to install? I’m using the same host for both.

So this is odd…I went ahead and published a post and suddenly the editor appeared just fine!

Now, it only is semi-broken on a certain Post Type called “Portfolio.” I get the editor, but no CSS applied! Very odd. See this screenshot:

If I switch between the two, the editor goes away completely. Once again, this only affects this post type. Cleared my cache, used different browser, same thing.

That’s really strange. I downloaded the latest version and cleared the cache and no change. I also tried using another browser entirely that I never used before just to test, still no go.

Currently, no other plugins running either.

Not sure what to do next. Thanks, hunk, for any help you can give.

Hey guys…did you do anything special to get this working? I’m using the latest version of WP as well and I am still getting this issue, same behavior as stuartt.

Hunk, do you mean clear the Magic Fields or Browser cache? I did both and I get the same behavior.

This is still not working for me and it has nothing to do with the cookies or session variables because I can try it in a browser that I’ve never been to the site before with and the same behavior occurs: “Continue Shopping” links to the homepage, not the last item.

Anybody else have a fix for this?

Interesting…that did stop the errors, but now instead of returning the actual excerpts at all (including ones not created from custom fields), all I get is:

“content…”
