REPAIR tablename USE_FRM

This should sort it out.

Hi, I’m suddenly getting this error also;

[Can't open file: 'wp_comments.MYI'. (errno: 138)]<br />
SELECT COUNT(*) FROM wp_comments WHERE comment_approved = '0'

When I take a look at my database in phpMyAdmin I see that the wp_comments table is corrupt; how did this happen? And, more to the point, how do I fix it? I’ve run a Repair on the table but I get:

Can't open file: 'wp_comments.MYI'. (errno: 138)

I’ve just installed Gudlyf’s WordPress Hack which seems to do the trick, as it requires users to input a numeric code. Looks like it works perfectly.

Same problem here. I have comment authorisation switched on but I want to delete them all before they arrive – and WPBlackList doesn’t seem to work.
