I haven’t been able to find any plugins yet ?? I really do have my heart set on having a plug commenters plugin and I won’t give up looking.

That’s a good suggestion to virus-check your files. I should do that also, I agree it’s a good habit to develop.

Oh yeah and another question.. Is it possible that this plugin could have a virus that could infect WP?

Firstly, I apologize for being a bit hasty and impatient in my last post. I had no right to act like that especially with the fact that you guys are offering support free of charge and it probably is time-consuming for all of you developers.

I’m using WordPress version 1.2.2. and it was installed via Fantastico (Cpanel) , not manually.

I simply created a my-hack.php file and put the little snippet in the index.php and if I deactivate this plugin it goes back to ordinary, like nothing ever happened.

I also am very particular about the fact that I want the last entry’s commenters plugged, not the current entry so I used a modified version of the link plugin that allowed that exact feature after discovering the original plugin also brought up errors. Unforunately, as I’ve already taken note of, the modified version also brings up errors.

If the error said “unexpected $ on line (# here)” I’d try to fix it, but it’d bring up the unexpected Constant Encapsed String error all over again, and that’s beyond my puny and small PHP knowledge to fix.

I figured out the plugin but I’m having major issues.

Oh yes and all of the pages including https://wiki.www.ads-software.com/?pagename=Comment%20and%20Post%20Plugins) don’t provide a link to the actual plugin/hack, only a description of it. Help. ??

I’d like that hack/plugin also. Where can we find this hack?

Um.. I’m having trouble with this as well. I tried the GreyMatter tags of doing things which is CGI I believe:

{{dayappend}} of {{monthword}} {{yearyear}} at {{hour}}:{{minute}} {{ampm}} {{timezone}} and it showed up as plain text on the page.

There’s also no PHP manual in the Options to demonstrate the different tags, etc…. What’s going on?
