@sakin The customizations I have made [aside from the ones I made in theme options] are my widgets on my right sidebar. Will those be deleted after the update?

Hello my site is gpsdenver.org and I was wondering will I lose all my customizations if I update to 1.6.1, and if so and I decide to not update what are the risks? Thank you.

It has a “Custom CSS Styles” under ‘Theme Options’.

I know you all aren’t magicians, I asked hoping maybe someone else had reported a similar problem. Sorry I have no knowledge of any of this and it’s the first update I have had to do since I’ve been managing my site myself. All of my business is driven soley from my site and I’m freaking out just thinking of it being down and not being able to fix it, I’ll see what I can figure out. Thanks for your responses.

WOW! Really,so the process of elimination is to activate a theme that I do not want to use? I asked some other questions above that you didn’t even bother answering, like was this isolated to the theme [being I changed themes last night] and this response is it?

I no longer use Theme Twenty Twelve and am not interested in using it, was this error due to the theme and if not what are my other options?

@bmxer193 I am in need of help decreasing the width of the sidebar on the right, I do not quite undertsnad the above instructions as I have no code experience; an experienced website builder started the building of my site for me and bailed in the middle and I am just trying to figure this all out on my own [through google and forums]. Hello everyone and thank you all for responding, while I awaited your responses I was testing some other themes to see if I could find better spacing [to no avai]. Thank you all for the instructions, I am going to see which theme works best and play with the margins and font size.
