    Hi,

    Since the update to the plugin yesterday, there’s a critical error that prevents login on five WordPress sites (using different themes) unless it’s put into recovery mode and the plugin is pause/deactivated. It seems to be okay on the frontend.

    I’m using WordPress 5.5.1 (latest) and WPSSO Core (Premium) 8.7.1 (latest). PHP version is 7.2.34.

    The following error message and stack trace is provided: I’ve used *** to censor full paths.

    Error Details
    =============
    An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 69 of the file /***/wp-content/plugins/wpsso-strip-schema-microdata/wpsso-strip-schema-microdata.php. Error message: Uncaught ArgumentCountError: Too few arguments to function WpssoSsm::init_objects(), 1 passed in /***/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 287 and exactly 3 expected in /***/wp-content/plugins/wpsso-strip-schema-microdata/wpsso-strip-schema-microdata.php:69

    Stack trace:
    #0 /***/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(287): WpssoSsm->init_objects(”)
    #1 /***/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(311): WP_Hook->apply_filters(NULL, Array)
    #2 /***/wp-includes/plugin.php(478): WP_Hook->do_action(Array)
    #3 /***/wp-content/plugins/wpsso/wpsso.php(457): do_action(‘wpsso_init_obje…’, ”)
    #4 /***/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(287): Wpsso->set_objects(”)
    #5 /***/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(311): WP_Hook->apply_filters(NULL, Array)
    #6 /***/wp-includes/plugin.php(478): WP_Hook->do_action(Array)

    Aside from the paths, the error messages are identical.

    Please could you investigate? Thanks.

    Hi, I was coming to complain about the same error, you beat me to it :)I’ve the same error, and it’s not only on this extension but on ALL wp sso add-ons that have been updated today.

    I have about a dozen+ broken sites resultings from this.

    I suspect the ‘Refactored the add-on class to extend a new WpssoAddOn abstract class.’ part of today’s update is the one responsible

    Oh and YES i use automatic plugin updates… I’m trusting like that ??
