I have been waiting through several updates of Woocommerce, probably back to 2.3, for this issue to resolve itself. It still hasn’t. I’ve tried several suggestions i have found on the forums and none of them has worked.

I get a similar error message to kireaki, except I’m not using dropbox. When I try to save the product with the file link to a mobi or epub, I get the error message and the link itself disappears as unacceptable. The buyer, of course, doesn’t get a download link upon purchase. t can, however, put a PDF link in there. I don’t get an error message and the buyer gets a download link.

I have the latest woo commerce upgrade and it didn’t help me with this problem either.

What file do I need to add that mimes coding to? I’m not sure. Any other suggestions are most welcome.

This problem was resolved when I realized the system could be confused because of another page’s name. Publicizing and publishing were just too similar. When I deleted the word “publicizing” from the page name, and with with your-book, the link worked!

Okay, I got it back with User Role Editor. Now trying again to see if I can figure out how to make this work.

Sorry for not getting back sooner. Unfortunately, my site was down. It was something to do with htaccess having an additional s.

Not sure how to get it to go online though. Assumed it automatically would be online when I was logged into WordPress, but apparently not. It would go online a little while and then not. When I clicked on it, I was still offline…

Thanks guys. The problem was an SEO plugin, unfortunately not one I want to do without. I’ve been using it for keywords and metatags for quite a while. Planning to temporarily disable it when appropriate for lack of a better plan…
