In reply to: Help with Twenty Sixteen footerThis explanation and the links are way too advanced for my understanding. For one, if I use a child theme, will I not be able to continue to use what I have now? Where do I find the .php files?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Can I make a gallery photo clickable?I did that to set up the Shop by Subject tab (which is where the shop page lands). That doesn’t solve the problem of adding a link to the photos on the portfolio page to link to where the product can be found on the shopping page.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Customer Lost PasswordThe thing is, when I tested it, I signed up with an email address that wasn’t associated with the WP account, which is why I’m sure it was a cache issue.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Customer Lost PasswordYes to the images.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Display categories only on shop pageUPDATE… This DID NOT work. Changing from plural to singular results in only showing ONE main category, not all of them. So back to the drawing board of the original question, which is how do I get only my main categories to show on the main shop page? Shop Page Display is set to Show Categories, and Category Display is set to Show Subcategories.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] 4 things I need to doThanks! I’m really hoping to find a way to do all this without having to use html or css codes. I’m happy to purchase an add-on or extension, if such a one exists.
I was afraid of that. Thanks very much for your answer.
