In reply to: [Afterpay Gateway for WooCommerce] odd button displayHi @sandyc1115,
Thanks for your message.
The latest version has updated the HTML structure of the express checkout button, and set its colour with CSS rule
.btn-afterpay_express.white-on-black { background-color: #000; }
.The problem described here seems to be caused by conflicting CSS rules. Could you please kindly share the website in question, so that the team can investigate further?
Thank you.
Thanks for sharing the detailed context and the update.
We are glad to hear that it has been resolved on your end.
Thank you.

In reply to: [Afterpay Gateway for WooCommerce] Preferred payment methodHi @scholtobos,
Thanks for your message.
It sounds like this is caused by interference from a third-party plugin. The Afterpay plugin does not automatically select Afterpay for the user on the checkout page, nor does it control the order of payment methods.

Hi @silverfox3019,
Thanks for following up.
The plugin supports hiding the messaging altogether, but not based on custom conditions. This feature request has been raised with the team for their review and evaluation, and this forum topic is linked to the request. An update will be provided here if and when the feature is included in a release.
Thank you.

In reply to: [Afterpay Gateway for WooCommerce] Order stuck at pendingHi @snapshades,
Thanks for your message.
The logs indicate that the customer clicked the ‘Place Order’ button on checkout page, but did not complete the payment on the Afterpay payment gateway, i.e. logging in to their Afterpay customer account and confirming the payment schedule. This would leave the WooCommerce order in a pending state for a set amount of time, depending on the WooCommerce configuration. After this time it will be moved to ‘Cancelled’ and the held stock will be released.
Merchants can choose to follow up with the customers regarding their pending orders.
Thank you.

In reply to: [Afterpay Gateway for WooCommerce] Fatal error GuzzleHttp6Hi @arture,
Thanks for your message.
It appears that the payment gateway you referred to is https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/afterpay-payment-gateway-for-woocommerce/, owned by a European company that formerly used the brand name ‘AfterPay’. A similar issue was reported here.
Please try raising this issue with their support team, or follow up on the other thread.
Thank you.
Hi @silverfox3019,
Thanks for your message.
Hiding the messaging based on user roles is currently not supported. A feature request has been created in the backlog and will be reviewed by the team.
Thank you.

In reply to: [Afterpay Gateway for WooCommerce] Critial Error when installing updateHi @kds26,
Thanks for providing these details.
Yes, that all looks okay. There is a cron task running every 15 minutes which polls for changes in the Afterpay merchant account. If there are no changes, no further detail is recorded.
Could you please provide some more information about the environment where this error is being produced? The Afterpay team have been unsuccessful in reproducing the error in a clean environment, using a fresh installation of WooCommerce. Please provide the following details if possible.
- Website URL
- WordPress version
- WooCommerce version
- Afterpay Gateway for WooCommerce version (which version are you upgrading from?)
Thank you.

In reply to: [Afterpay Gateway for WooCommerce] Issue with Empty Box on Checkout PageHi @avslick,
Thank you for providing the url.
The team have checked the website and found that most of the product prices fall within the Pay Monthly order range. Unfortunately, the Payment Schedule widget for Pay Monthly is still under development, thus currently hidden on the checkout page. The update will be released as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience.
