    I found out that there was a problem with loading my Custom Header when Elementor was updated, so I deactivated Ocean Extra and changed the style in Header > General > Style to “minimal” and it worked fine (the Select Template option was also changed back to the original setting, i.e., with no template. I activated Ocean Extra and it still worked. The changes were then saved.

    After some time I then reverted back to entering “Custom Header” under the Style setting in Header > General with the appropriate template that I created before and it worked! I’m not sure what happened when Elementor was updated but after turning the Custom Header off and on again it seemed to load everything.

    Any clues as to what happened when Elementor got updated?

    No I didn’t, but I now went into the settings area and simply clicked “save” if that is what you meant. I didn’t touch the code inside that box unless as it says, to have the style back to the original theme/layout. The general theme error has now disappeared! Thanks. Do I need to do any coding to position my quotes to appear in a particular place on my landing page, for example?
