Any luck with this? I’m experiencing the same problem and my host claims that everything is in order.

For some reason, after I drop the files in phpmyadmin, they reappear as if I’d never done anything to them. And I can’t restore from my backup either. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, I forgot to add that my site at https://riceandsoup.com seems to show up fine on Safari and IE (Mac).
