when you say “useragent” are you refering to the spiders name?

if so, do you know what technorati’s spiders name is?

I use AW Stats and under “refering sites” I’ve got things like:

https://techorati.com/tags/dogs/
https://techorati.com/tags/cats/

as I’ve previously mentioned… but if you goto to those url’s you get error messages… they dont actually exists

also there is nothing obvious under “robots/spider visitors”… the only odd one listed is “BaiDuSpider” whoever that is lol

any help would really be appreciated

I’ve never knowing made any changes to the php with reference to Comments

It’s kind of hard to pin down since it comes and goes

It’s on my site right now… but I don’t have any comments waiting for apporoval, so why the error is pointing towards a an “id” is issing i dont know

good point TomHanna…

but I guess WordPress has a hell of a lot more inbound on topic one-way links… that’s probably whats got them the top spot

descriptive links just help a bit more than non desciptive links… but not as much as 1-way inbound on topic links

well that’s my take on it anyways ;o)

thanks for the post though mate… it’s interesting to know “/?p=772” type of links are readably by google

I have to agree that the instructions were a little brief and presume a certain level of WP knowledge… for wp newbies like myself its been head banging stuff lol

I’ve put the files into the root of plugins folder as suggested above

I’ve edited the votio.php file with a single category name

and I’ve edited the Post Templatevfile single.php (using WP) and put the <?php votio_ballot_box();?> code just after the post title H2 bit of code

still no luck in getting getting the thing to work

If anyone can suggest a really simple Rating plugin alternative I’d for readers of the site I’d be enourmously grateful

Better still any help getting votio to work would be best ;o)

I just want to add that I’ve set up the permalinks… had read that it causes some people problems but it all worked perfectly for me… rss feeds still work and all links resolve and work great

I’m absolutely stoked… I can’t believe how good wordpress is
