Thank you dgwyer. I am not skilled in WP. Is there anyway to fix this? Do I need to deactivate each plugin one at a time to find the solution, or delete each one – one at a time to see if this fixes it?

I am using an old theme, so I get the following message when I follow these directions.

The theme you are currently using isn’t widget-aware, meaning that it has no sidebars that you are able to change.

Is there another solution? Thank you dgwyer.

I was wondering if I follow step 1, would it accomplish this? When you say it is ‘not preferred’, does it present any dangers? Thanks.

Been playing with some files, but still cannot resolve this one. I’d be grateful to anyone who knows of this issue. I am sure it was something done by a newbie like myself who did something wrong. Thanks.

OK, Otto42. I just activated my WP Super Cache. Not sure if I did it correctly, but I will post if my site appears faster.

I have 2 questions:

It asked me if I want to delete expired pages. What is an expired page.

Also, I seem to have a WP-Cache file. Where is this file, and do I need this with Super Cache?

How would I fix this issue?

I am a go daddy user, and just upgraded to 2.5. For me, it is slower, so Otto42, I am open to your help if nobody else does. My blog is at:

My other issue is my contact form cannot be activated when I upgraded. Thanks Otto42.

Just an update. I tried deleting my contact form from my server, uploaded it again, and still get this message:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

I even tried different contact forms, but they won’t activate either. This is strange. All my other plug ins allowed me to activate them.

Both items fixed. Thank you.
