In reply to: Remove a title from pageThat’s a good idea, but I would never know how to do that on my own. I do like my design, but I could not make it into a WP theme. Anyway, I thank you very much for your time and expertise. At least you helped me fix the nav bar issue. I think I will try finding a new theme, then upgrading to 2.1 again to see what happens.
Edit: Do you like any of Andreas’ themes?

In reply to: Remove a title from pageSorry I could not understand it. Just not a computer person. Thanks anyway. Could you recommend a new theme that may work better in WP 2.1 ? I don’t want to pick another unpopular one.

In reply to: Remove a title from pageThank you. That appears to be what I encountered. I read it with interest, but I am not confident enough to fix it on my own. I am afraid I am too much of a beginner to apply what is stated there. Can you or anyone explain what I should do in beginner terms. Sorry for the stupidity….

In reply to: Remove a title from pageThank you Moshu for your time. I edited something after your post, so I wanted to write it again. You may be the only one that can help me. What I wrote is below:
“Moshu, while I have your ear, the reason why this problem occurred is because last night when I tried upgrading to the new WP 2.1, all the links on the top nav bar disappeared. Do you know why this happened, and what I can do to upgrade properly. I had to go back to my previous WP version to keep the page working properly.”

In reply to: Remove a title from pageThank you Moshu for the feedback. It worked for the home page, no problem. You were also correct, when I tried it for the other pages (Terms and Contact), it removed it from the horizontal menu as well. Is there any way to do it for the other pages?
I do have a plugin for a static front page, so I am not sure if that is important to know. Thank you in advance.

In reply to: Help …PLEASEI just upgraded for the second time, and the same thing happened. I lost all the links on the top nav bar (home, terms, and contact). Can anyone tell me if I am doing anything wrong?
Also, can anyone tell me how to get rid of the words Home, Terms, and Contact at the top of each page. For example, I do not want the word ‘Home’ at the top of the home page. Thanks to anyone who can help.

In reply to: Can get rid of boldPlease correct me if I am wrong. I saw this:
<p><strong /></p>
at the end of my post. I took it out, and it looks great. Was this what was suggested? If yes, thank you very much. I know this was a noobie thing.

In reply to: Can get rid of boldI apologize. I am new to this. I understand what you said, but I can’t find it, and I am not quite sure how to fix it. I feel pretty stupid about this, again, my apologies. Any help for a beginner would be appreciated.
I will give it a try…..thank you.
