After going through the update procedure tooo many times I finally got all three site up and running again.

Of course now I have to go back and re-enter everything because I could never get the backup from the other host running correctly.

But, that is just a small problem.

I went through the installer.php again with https://www.findyourbestpet.com and when it finished it shows everything completed with the following warning.

MEDIA SETTINGS WARNING: The table ‘wp_options’ has at least one the following values [‘upload_url_path’,’upload_path’] set please validate settings. These settings can be changed in the wp-admin by going to Settings->Media area see ‘Uploading Files’

Does that mean anything to you?

You are correct, the slider is part of a theme. I have several sliders but none that comes anywhere near close to this one. I would really like to have both of these features in one theme.

Well, I finally have access. Not complete but enough to finish the rebuild. I am already half way through with the rebuild so I am on the downhill side. Thanks again for your wonderful help! Joe

I had heard that a temp url could be created using the sites /IP-ADDRESS but I do not now how to find the ip-address

Is there a way to create a temporary url to access this sub-directory?

No, I only have file manager access.

I have checked several directories and files and the are sett as you stated.

I have 3 htt access files, they are
.htaccess
.htaccess-old
.htaccess.htm

the first one reads as follows.

Any suggestions. I have reinstalled wordpress 3 times with the same error.
