The PDF file is being served with a 200 OK
status because WordPress does not manage wp-content/uploads
directly. Instead, these files are served by the web server (e.g., Apache, Nginx).
Query parameters (like utm_source
) are being appended, and the redirect plugin may not recognize them as part of the URL.
Solution
Use Exact Match Redirect
If you want the redirect to work with the query parameters included, ensure the redirect is set up for the exact URL:
- URL:
https://defittemedewerker.nl/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Vitaliteitskalender-2024.pdf?utm_source=ActiveCampaign&utm_medium=email&utm_content=Jouw%20Vitaliteitskalender%202025%20staat%20klaar%20om%20te%20downloaden&utm_campaign=Introductie%20Vitaliteitskalender%202025&vgo_ee=...
- Redirect to:
https://defittemedewerker.nl/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Vitaliteitskalender-2025.pdf
In the Redirect Plugin:
Use “Query Parameters” settings (if available) to match or ignore them.
