]]>I have had to disable Cleantalk AntiSpam as it was incompatible with SmartSlider 3 Pro which is a key function on my homepage. It stopped the slider working at all on mobiles and stopped any of the links working on the desktop version.
It is possible that it is the upgrade to the latest version of WordPress (6.7) that has exacerbated this, or a new update that Cleantalk have released that hampers my site. But I am unsure which I should do, revert to an earlier version of WordPress or wait for Cleantalk to release an update that ensures compatibility.
Would be very grateful for advice/support on this..
My site is working fine now that I have disabled it, but obviously I am now vulnerable to spam attack!

]]>Hi, I am pro user, and I have always after malware scan and security scans, many critical warnings on suspicious codes by the hundreds, we have a system that embeds perfectly safe music streaming codes from spotify or bandcamp and even svg codes are marked as long suspicious code. Is there a way to tell Clean Talk not to mark those codes “starting with…” as suspicious or critical warnings? for example a code that has “url=https://spotify.com/embed/playlist/…. etc” or for svg files?
Otherwise I love the plugin and I’m a happy customer for several years!
Hello,
I have multiple websites, and I use Security by CleanTalk on only one of them. When I scanned this site to check its security headers, the results showed missing headers:
I added the same header configurations to the .htaccess
file on all my websites, but only the website with CleanTalk failed the scan. Could you please advise on any potential solutions for this issue?
Thank you!

Hi,
I was recently blocked by my hosting provider for sending emails to honeypot addresses. When I looked into the issue, I realised that a bot with this email “[email protected]” managed to get through to the checkout page and entered the email address above at checkout.
While no actual order was placed, unfortunately, I have the WooCommerce Cart Abandonment Recovery plugin installed which automatically emails the “customer” based on their email address in an attempt to get them to complete their purchase (that is, recover the cart).
FYI, my email address field is the first field in the checkout form on the Billing Details section.
Is there a way for your plugin to actually stop the bot from reaching the checkout page in the first place? Is there a setting I can turn on to enable this?
I have since disabled the WooCommerce Cart Abandonment Recovery plugin but I’d like to reactivate it if possible. My hosting provider has threatened that they would not unlock my account if this behaviour continues on my website which is really frustrating. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you kindly.
]]>I tried to sign into my website using my admin username and password, but I was prompted for the CleanTalk authentication code that was supposed to be sent to my email. However, I never received it, not even in my spam folder. I’ve attempted to log in several times over the past 9 hours, and each time, it asks for the code, but its not arriving. I’m starting to regret using CleanTalk services, as being locked out of my website is frustrating. I urgently need a solution to this issue.
]]>Hi, I have an issue wherer meta-externalagent/1.1 (+https://developers.facebook.com/docs/sharing/webmasters/crawler) is crawling website way to aggressively, and sending hundreds of requests per minute.
While crawling product pages would be okay, they are crawling product filters pages, thus overloading the database with these requests. Sample of request page is: .com/?filtering=1&filter_product_cat=740,3615,718,2493 etc
How to limit the request volume without directly blocking the FB bots?

I just performed the first scan of my domain and subdomain.
There were a few unknown files in my subdomain which I had to approve; no problem.
However, after the scan of my domain there are 710 unknown files (which I recognise so don’t pose a security threat), but when I try to approve even one of them, I get the error message in the image and am unable to go any further.
Hey,
I’m using the 2FA system and it’s working great, is it possible though to have it through an app, like Google Authenticator?
Thanks

I cannot post a link for the public to see here. I am using a paid version of your plugin and the link is my client’s site. Paid version support isn’t supposed to be done through this wordpress support area, unless they’ve recently changed that rule … and my client wouldn’t appreciate my posting links to their site in random places, telling people that I’ve had to turn the security to the site off because we just went live with a brand new forms-based database and it immediately blocked at least 2 legitimate users, one of which was a board member and I was on the phone with her for quite a while trying to resolve without turning off all anti-spam and security.
I attempted whitelisting her IP, then I did the same with her email. Didn’t work.
One her end, I had her clean cookies/cache. Didn’t work.
Had her turn off anti-tracking/anti-virus/firewall, then clean cookies/cache again …. didn’t work.
The only way she was finally able to access the new database and being filling out the several forms that her account required was for me to completely disable the entire CleanTalk anti-spam and security. During the fight trying to force CleanTalk to allow her in, I noticed that it had already blocked at least one other member of the organization, for sure. I have no idea how many overall it blocked as they reset passwords and got into the new members area to begin forms but I can tell you that, from my standpoint, this has been a most embarrassing nightmare for me as a designer/developer.
The unveiling has created frustration for members, rather than the exciting new, promise it should have.
