In reply to: [Chitika] Plugin dosn't work – Ads do not show upOk, sounds good. Specifically for cortexlinux, we’ll give him some code which is a 250×250 since the ad is too wide for the column on his site. We’ll also tell him to clear his cookies whenever his ads go “invisible”. Lastly, we’ll give him some special 1×1 help since he reached out to us.
For everyone using this widget, some general pointers are to:
1. Go with the 500×250 size (our best performer by far) and place it just below each blog post. If you absolutely need another size, just login to chitika.com and configure one to your liking.
2. Login to chitika.com and turn “on” the two Apps (Linx and Hover) which typically add 10-20% to a publisher’s revenue instantly. Here’s a how-to: https://info.chitika.com/activate-linx-view
3. I also suggest contacting our customer support team and asking them to take a look at your blog. It’s free!Hope that helps.

I assume you don’t see the ads because you’re not coming from a search engine or using the #chitikatest at the end of your url in order to test the ads. If you have any additional questions contact our support department at https://chitika.com/support/

In reply to: [Plugin: Chitika | Premium] Causes problem with other plugins shortcode.Glad using the <!–no-chitikapremium–> comment helped. We are going to familiarize ourselves with the SI Contact Form plugin and see if we can fix that bug for ya.
Any details about how the form was setup or if you put it in a page/post and the config on your Chitika | Premium plugin would help us make sure no one else has to deal with this issue!
Thanks again Mike!

In reply to: [Plugin: Chitika | Premium] Placing Ads mid article? Thanks PMichaud. We appreciate the request, though right we do not have any plans to add a mid-article position as a feature. The reason we have the options to put the Chitika | Premium ads only above or below the content is because that’s where the ads typically perform best.

In reply to: [Plugin: Chitika | Premium] Not Capturing Correct KeywordNo, the ads only show to search visitors so it will not default to automobile or any other keyword. Only contextual ads would try an figure out keywords based on the page’s content and Chitika | Premium ads are not contextual.
Please do contact out support department https://chitika.com/support/ if you are having a problem or have further questions.

In reply to: [Plugin: Chitika | Premium] Not Capturing Correct KeywordPMichaud
That field merely show as sample keyword for you to demo Chitika Premium with.
To demo to see what the ads look like use:
url.com/page/#chitikatest=keyword though that will only demo the ad code for your viewing, NOT set the keyword for that page, the keyword is determined by your visitors previous search query.Details:
If you have a site related to gardening and I search for ‘Mini Cactus Tips’ then arrive at your site’s content, the ads will target to my search keywords of ‘mini cactus tip’s no matter what the sample/demo form in the WordPress interface displays.
I hope this makes more sense, please contact our support department https://chitika.com/support/ if you have any other questions or suggestions about how we could more clearly convey this through the interface.

In reply to: chitika/premium pluginDaring – how did you fix the problem, was it a bug?

When you append
#chitikatest
to the end of the URL you should see Chitika | Premium ads show up just the way your search traffic sees.If you have checked the ‘Only display ads on permalink pages’ checkbox you’ll have to use the
#chitikatest
on one of your permalink pages. For example: https://example.com/2009/02/04/hello-world/#chitikatest
If you want to see similar ads that would be targeted to a specific search terms, paintbrush for instance, you would use: https://example.com/2009/02/04/hello-world/#chitikatest=paintbrush
That is an example of what someone searching a major search engine for paintbrush who chooses your page from the results might see!
