(@amsgator) “just in case” Absolutely! If you’re using installatron to install WP (or other platforms – some hosts include it in their cPanel) it’s so easy to manage cloning for testing and Backups.

So, on the test site I installed Divi Version: 3.0.34 and checked ..
Yoast still works.

I’m stumped on this one. Other than possibly hosting environment, I have nothing left. sorry.

What theme are you using?
If possible try switching to 2017 theme to test.

(@amsgator) I’ve not tested this of late so the below workaround may not be accurate.

Install EWWW Image Optimizer and from memory I think there’s a setting for it to Optimize Images not included in the Media Library.

Anyways Yes, Theme and Plugin Devs really should Optimize images, for space saving, but also for loading times.

I’m not so sure.. All good on my test site

Josh, I’ve tested by the basic methods, tried on two themes (2017 and Ultra)
Fresh install on WP and no other plugin,
and On two different hosts.

I’ve just sent a Support request with required login credentials for a test site created just for this issue.

I do appreciate your dedication in getting this resolved.

Acceptable? yeah maybe. But from a clients perspective who just sees a plugin update in their dashboard, I’m not so sure.

Then there’s the Automated Plugin Update Features some Agencies have implemented. Oh boy on this one.

Solution? Don’t update and risk a security patch over non needed features? I really don’t know.

You should be able to Disable Sitempas within the Yoast Plugin.
Then from Google XML Sitemaps settings, you can click the link to view your sitemap.

You can use the Page ID in the Excluded items / Exclude posts section:
[Exclude the following posts or pages: List of IDs, separated by comma]

How to find a Page ID? – Good Question – Edit the Page, and in the Address Bar of the Browser, you will notice something like this:

in this example the Page id is 160

LOL! Although it took you 4 months!! .. look again at the amount of starts in my rating?!?.

One minor issue is the Hover effect (Colour change) doesn’t display. But that’s a minor issue and I’m sure the theme update will have it sorted.

The CSS almost worded – just a centring issue now that I’ll work out, if not I’ll wait patently for the update.

As for forum login – no email was received, nothing in junk folder too. I’ll need to check server logs to be sure it wasn’t blocked there.
