Just so I Understand your review, You chose BackWPup Free (Reviews here are for what’s listed, and it’s the Free Version listed here) because their Website Looked Good!?!?

Then you purchased the Premium Version only to have problems in All Your Sites?!?!

And finally, you wanted a Premium Version to Just Work on all the thousands of different server combinations out in the real world?!?!

Sorry – But I’m not sure if any of your review made any sense -> to me!

Yes, it’s a bug. Have proven it numerous times.

But if the developer of the theme states in the description of their theme, it’s Fully Responsive, wouldn’t it make sense they have the preview setup to what they are describing?

Also, when I had installed the theme with default settings on a fresh WP install on my locahost the responsive problem was present.

It wasn’t until a brain neuron was sparked that I tried to disable, then re-enable the responsive setting.

Although this has now been marked Resolved by someone?
It still remains, the PREVIEW on www.ads-software.com still isn’t responsive.

So, is this really resolved?
Could it happen again?
Is Re-enabling a setting considered a genuine Fix?

Yeah, the Enable Responsive option is ticked in the Theme Options / General tab…

But here’s something else interesting –

I disabled the Responsive setting, saved, then re-enabled it, saved again

And now it works!

Or if arshad2100 is referring to hosting WP as html, then the easiest way is to use a caching plugin such as W3 total cache or WP Super Cache just to name 2.

So, with the thought there may have been something going on with how www.ads-software.com was hosting this theme preview, I installed it on my locahost setup (xampp) and it also Doesn’t Respond to browser screen size.

Interesting, what I have noticed is on the Home Page of AccessPress

their demo of this theme works beautifully O_o!

Shouldn’t reviewmylife (Plugin Author) go to that review and enplane just what was said here.

I too saw that review and since this plugin hasn’t been updated since December 2014 It’s a huge concern… and still is.

No using this one till a little more engagement from the Plugin Author is noticed.

I might be jumping to conclusions here but Tee-Jay has been a Member Since February 6, 2015 – as of today that’s less than one month!
Tee-Jay may be new to WordPress and his experiences could be limited.

I take security, spam, and malware extremely seriously so when I see a review on a Plugin I’m using I take it very seriously and run my own tests. Because the potential compromised websites of anyone needs to be taken seriously.

I can honestly say there is no such malware that Tee-Jay is so confident this plugin has embedded. He doesn’t even give an example :/

One simple test Everyone can do is run their url over at Pingdom
Another tip I highly recommend is install Wordfence Security plugin and run a scan.

But you failed to Mention that URL is of the Pro and not the Demo.

Thanks for sharing this information. I also value my visitors performance and privacy so I took this very seriously.

However for the life of me and an hour of testing, searching, and looking I just can’t find where is external call is made.
All I find is the request to Facebook.

I do see your results – thanks for sharing those – So I don’t doubt this external request exists. But scratching my head because I don’t have those same results as you guys…

Could it be a setting somewhere we have different?

As for slowdowns – sure – it takes some amount of time to retrieve a Facebook or whatever Social media/s requests. In my case it’s about 200ms
Although not instantaneous, I think that’s acceptable.

After 3 months with no reply to trolleyman request to where SuperGuide got this bit of information, it leaves the comment from SuperGuide questionable!

On a standard WP install all I could find outgoing were the requests to Facebook (fbstatic) site.

Just as you have your own opinion about

‘better support than any other free plugin’
