@tidiotidio When the email arrived over 2 weeks has passed and I had already migrated to a new Chat Plugin that worked amazingly.
I had no inclination to Try Tidio again just for the sake of Testing it.

One day I may Try Tidio again, but for now my current Chap Plugin is working great.

Chat speed wasn’t the issue – Loading time of the website was the issue as clearly indicated by the Pingdom link that was supplied.

One day I might try Tidio again but for now I’ve had awesome results with another Chat Plugin.

My site was extremely slow to load, and Pingdom Webpage Speed Test showed Tidio was taking its sweet time.

Spoke (online chat) with Tidio, and I supplied the Pingdom link that showed how much time Tidio was taking to load. They promised they would get back to me.. after 2 weeks not one response!

Deactivating it solved the speed problem …
Uninstalling it and installing different Chat Plugin has solved the speed issues. Pingdom now shows the page speed back to normal with a different Chat Plugin.

I think Amarpr wants the same style and effects of the home page applied to additional pages he creates from the WP dashboard (?)

Not sure how possible it would be. I looked into doing that and after a night wasn’t successful. So I just used a couple of Zenith Widgets on the side column of the page (Pages set to two columns)

Thanks for the update and having the option to enable Audio tags.

When the webpage that has the RSS fead in it loads up, the Audio tags are displayed for a brief couple of seconds then they fade away.

Still, version 1.1 workes better than the latest version :/

1. A month later and somewhat expected – no support response.
2. The Plugin still fails to update the database.
3. Downloading the and uploading the updated database.bin still indicates the database is outdated O_o!

3.5 …And to top it off – Blocked countries IP’s are still gaining access to the backend… Lots of em.

Uninstalled, and tightened up the excellent Wordfence Security plugin .

Why not just post a support topic in this plugin’s dedicated support sub-forum?

I had sent an email over a month ago and was advised to downgrade back to version 1.1
Then the Dev updated the Description to take Attention and invite users to use v1.1 if they do not have media in their RSS

My rating is of the current version 1.1.1 and of my experience with this version to date. If the Dev updates it and fixes this known issue I will be more than happy to re-rate on that experience.

..FYI, I also test potential problems on a Clean install of WP before I seek help to eliminate any problems that may be caused from other things.

I see an update has been released, so I’ll update to that.

When ip2location plugin is installed via WordPress, it is installed to:
…/wp-content/plugins/ip2location-country-blocker.
However the instructions say to “Create ip2location folder in the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.”

So will the Plugin Directory need Both ‘ip2location-country-blocker’ and ‘ip2locations’ directories?

I’ve Tested a number of IPs on both the Settings page and from other online sites. All show the tested IPs are from countries that have been selected.

I’m not getting any notification of Ip2Location plugin advising any IPs had been blocked. (Checked Spam box too)

85.214.27.40 and 190.40.176.97 Should have been blocked as the 1st is from Germany and 2nd Peru. However since these IPs had tried to log into the back-end and thankfully failed the Security plugin (Wordfence) sent me an email advising of the attempt and it also blocked them for 60 days.

Ideally, I’m hoping Ip2Location plugin would block selected countries in being able to get to the back-end.

One thing I did notice lately, if I Open the Original BIN file that gets installed with the plugin, it looks (in format) completely different to the DBLite BIN file that has been downloaded manually from the website. I can only Guess, the format of the BIN file may be an issue?

The 1st line of the orginal BIN file looks like :

 (non standard asci – won’t show in post)
The 1st line of the Updated BIN file looks like:
“0”,”16777215″,”-“,”-“

I have now decided to just use the standard image sizes, until I get inspired some other time.
