okay i have it sorted,
transferred the index.php file anc changed the ‘require’ bit at the top to read relative to the new placement of the index file.
However the index is not appending the correct ‘rewrite base’ as i have setup in the .htacess file. so whilst the address itself is correct, had index been in the original directory, the links remain broken now…
how do i fix this?\
