In reply to: [WP likes] [Plugin: WP likes] fatal errorI have the same problem too. What really irks me is that I reported this to Aakash Banna’s Blog (https://blog.aakash.org/) and he did not even approve my comment. I hope he is not trying to damage control this. The right way to do this is to acknowledge the issue and let us know how this can be fixed … even if it means rolling back the changes for now.

In reply to: [Plugin: WP-PageNavi] Memory limit error in the latest versionHi Scribu:
I had already downgraded the plugin. I don’t have a sandbox site and if I do the upgrade again, I will bring the site down again. Is there anything else I could do without doing so?

In reply to: [Plugin: WP-PageNavi] Memory limit error in the latest versionI had never had this sort of things happening in an plugin upgrade before. After I upgraded, site just showed a blank page. Then when I launched a new browser and tried to login to deactivate it, I can’t login to WP at all. I had to go and delete the entire plugin using a FTP program and then reinstate the old version from my backup. A fix (fully tested!!) must be made ASAP.

In reply to: [Plugin: WP Super Cache] Having Lots of Error on error_logHi Donncha:
It is looking very good. FYI this is what I had done:
1. Uninstalled (again) WP Super Cache as per the instructions on readme.txt. I noticed that the absence of mod_rewrite rules on the .htaccess file on the root.
2. Grabbed the Dev Version from the WP Super Cache site and reinstalled the plugin again.
3. Set the mode to HALF ON. Waited for 5 minutes while I had over 20 pages cached. Checked the error_log file on root. No more new errors logged. This is good news … problem appeared solved because I used to get error log entries the very second I set the WP Super Cache mode to on.
4. I next set the mode to full ON. Seems to be running OK too as no error log entries were generated. I’ll wait to a few more hours and see if the WP-Super-Cache Expired Pages gets deleted automatically. (I used to have problems with this but it’s not a showstopper as I can always use HALF ON). I will let you know later on how this goes.
Thanks for staying with me on this. Donation on the way to you — your plugin is definitely worth more than $5!! Keep up the good work, Donncha.

In reply to: [Plugin: WP Super Cache] Having Lots of Error on error_logThanks for the quick answer Donncha.
1. The WP Super Cache version I had installed earlier when I had the problem was 0.9.2. This was the version I downloaded from www.ads-software.com.
2. The PHP version I had on my site is 5.2.9. I am not sure if this is relevant but I noticed in PHP Config under cpanel, the installation is selected as “PHP5 (Single php.ini)” (The other two options were “PHP5” and “PHP5 (FastCGI)”)
3. I had just uninstalled WP Super Cache (using the instructions you had on readme.txt) and then grabbed the development version from the WP Super Cache download page. Reinstalled WP Super Cache again, activated it and then set it to Half-On. Unfortunately, the same errors shows up again on the error_log file on root.
Would it help you if I grant you access to my site to inspect?
Thanks
Ben
