hm, since theme code is generating HTML code, how can I replace this?

And my problem is not “<p class=”fn”>….</p> but <cite class=”fn”>…</cite>”.

HTML-Tags are converted so that they are displayed in plain text. Seems that there is processed a PHP htmlify where it should not be done.

I also have this problem on a customer website. If I subscribe with a new e-mail-address to a post notification list all other subscribers are removed from the list. I hope, this bug will be fixed shortly.

I already use the .po- and .mo-files und use poedit to insert translations which are not yet made or confirmed on official translation site.

I have the problem that configured translations are not present on the website.

Hello,
I did not add any custom css.
Except some custom html to show an image in Header ads.
I also searched in each installed plugin if it generates this css – nothing found.
So I downloaded the theme once again and searched for this css – and found it in custom-header.php (by the way I am a software developer and I am able to read php sources).
And finally I found the reason:
An option was set wrong in theme header customization: Instead of “Logo” (first option) “Site title” was selected. When I set “Logo” option all was alright already.
I don’t know how this could be set, I do not remember having done this – mysterious.

I found what was wrong: the filename.
When I renamed the files to profitmag-de_DE.po(.mo) it works.

Hello, I almost have the same problem. I downloaded .po and .mo-file from here and put them to wp-content/languages/themes/.
But the texts still are in English.

What I am doing wrong ?
Please help.

Hi Pim,
no, it still hangs when exporting the website. I tried it with each new version, no success.
I let it be now because there was a decision to keep the website where it is and change the domain, so I am not forced to migrate it.

I try to migrate it to https://www.donaustadt-oeko-news.at/scheedwald (same provider, but another web space, another WP, another database).
I set Find/Replace-Values since I found out that source URL is located in database in many tables.
I have tried it without Find/Replace-Values some days ago – no success, same behavior.
