I’ll give that a go. Could you let me know if there anyneed to have an FTP piece of software on my computer or can all this be done in the admin? In other words, copying pages and folders? I’d this something that needs an FTP client (free if course) or can it be done via the site admin?

On a slightly different note… I’m looking to setup some of these sites as favours for charities and friends. When they want to update, will they need to login and wade through the menu system or is there an easier way to do it?

Would it be possible to setup a very easy way that someone who has little experience being able to add news and posts? I guess part of my problem is I don’t understand anything more that pages in wp! What are categories and posts etc? What’s needed?

Thanks for this but unfortunately this leaves a gap where it was, removes the name from the footer and leaves the site as Untitled in the browser heading at the very top. All of these I want to try to avoid.

Is there a better way to remove it?
