The only security-related plugin I have installed at the moment is WP-SpamShield, so I’m not sure where the notification is coming from.

That aside, I think the bug is the one recently mentioned on WP Tavern: https://wptavern.com/wordpress-security-issue-in-password-reset-emails-to-be-fixed-in-future-release, which *apparently* is not a big concern and is going to be fixed in a future release.

No worries. I’m all for plugins with a narrow focus (too many are broad and bloated). ??

I’m interested to know what your thinking was, though, with designing it around a custom image. I would have thought that most people would want to display a video’s default image (rather than go to the trouble of creating a custom image). Also, most people viewing videos would want to see that default image so they know exactly what they’re about to watch.

This looks like a beautifully designed plugin, but this (not being able to select the YouTube preview image as an option) keeps me from using it. So I +1 the above.

On a related note, it doesn’t look like Lazy Load for Videos is supported anymore, and a few of the other more popular lazy-load plugins haven’t been updated recently; that’s why I was keen to use yours. ??

Maxmind has said that I’m (or rather the shared server I’m on) not blocked. So maybe it *is* related to a Cloudflare node near me (New Zealand).

Anyway, I don’t want to bother anyone any more than I already have, so I’ve manually uploaded the database to my Slim Stat directory. And Slim Stat is now geolocating. ??

I must apologise to you and @ivanatanasov. I think the reason Maxmind blacklisted me was because I installed and uninstalled Slim Stat (and with it, Geolite DB) a number of times within a short space of time, and they have a download limit for Geolite DB (I contacted them).

The reason I installed and uninstalled Slim Stat a number of times was because I couldn’t make up my mind whether to use it. Not that I had doubts about the product (it’s great, by the way!), but because I wasn’t sure how it would go on shared hosting with limited disk space. I’ve since decided I will give it a try and see how it goes. I’ve also asked Maxmind to remove me from their blacklist–particularly so it doesn’t affect other people on my shared server.
