I have now checked Google do see the body text even if the Yoast word counter is giving me only 42 words when I really have >300 words on the page.

And I think I know why.

Yoast is only counting on the page inside the Admin and not really checking the “real” page. Therefore it’s not able to lookup what’s in the other plugins (custom fields) on the same page. Should not be too difficult to change for them I guess… And I think they should to improve their own product.

If that’s at all possible it would be one way to do it.
Any new words I write directly under the image on the page are immediately detected by Yoast.

    Thanks for your reply Bundeld!

Is there no other way to verify that this is really the case (Google can see) not that I don’t believe you but it would be nice to see it (I’m really new to this sorry). Are all of the blocks in WP the same? is there maybe some other block that could be used for the same function (just text is what I need) and that would be visible for Yoast word count?
Could maybe a content block be used?

    /Thanks
    Christian
