Hi @stefancotitosu , I’ve already shared everything I needed to and everything you asked for via your customer service. Your support team was always there to answer, but definitely not to help, at least in my specific case.
I simply wanted to test the plugin and its features, and the offloading feature broke my site, making most of the images not to display, and losing them in the process (both in my site and in your servers), when testing disabling the offload feature (something really important to be sure that me or anyone that uses the plugin can stop using it anytime in the future without breaking anything, which is clearly not the case).
This plugin simply is not ready to be trusted
Thanks for replying
Of course I won’t grant access to a plugin that broke my site, I simply don’t trust it
You offered as a solution to manually restore 500 images. If I had tested the plugin on a bigger site, it would be thousands of images. This was also just testing the basic functionalities, not an anomaly that happened in a very complex and specific situation
So the plugin didn’t work as expected, and you didn’t offer any kind of solution that didn’t imply tons of work from my side (or trusting you completely giving you access to my site)
Again, can definitely not recommend it (the plugin nor your customer service)
Thanks @eri32s98 for your answer! I just contacted privately through that contact form with the sites affected (it’s 3 different ones)
Thanks!
@bruceallen thanks for the fast response, I’ll try and get back here!
Hi @erania-pinnera and thanks for your answer!
1. The images are not too big to cause trouble (1200px wide, between 100kb and 800kb). I have plenty of other post with tons of images, same size and no problem!
2. I also contacted the server company, they say there is no issue on their side. The problem appears only when editing the post, and it’s clear that it demands a lot of computer power as the memory consumed by the browser increases significantly as well as the CPU usage (the fans go full speed on my Macbook as soon as I open that post)
Regarding the CDN:
The Tiled Gallery block uses our CDN feature. When enabling the Tiled Gallery block, the CDN needs to be enabled as well.
I see that images are served by your CDN, but it’s not activated in my settings. Is that a reason of conflict?

As explained in the Github issue, when seeing what’s happening in the browser I see that there are lots of petitions to the WordPress API, like this:
https://randomtrip.es/wp-json/wp/v2/media/[MEDIA-ID]?context=edit&_locale=user
Taking a deeper look, I see that they take a lot of time to load (around 1 second each):
https://www.evernote.com/l/AgrOjt7aW8lEP4qpXAMF0g7eBbbc_b6hea0Are those requests fired by Jetpack? If that’s so, what’s the purpose in terms of the editor itself? Is there any way to avoid all those request, or just fire them when editing the images related to the specific gallery? Or is there any way to cache those requests so they don’t take that long?
I’m open to work with anybody on the team that can take a deeper look in order to improve it as I really want to use Jetpack Galleries and this seems just a bug.

Hi! Any insights about this? I can’t even open the post now to edit, the browser just freezes ??

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Og:image and twitter:image not working as expected@devnihil not at all, just below 200 posts total.
The thing with the galleries is that appart from the editor working extremely slow, when I publish / save the post it sometimes generated problems with the server, so maybe the process in charge of updating that yoast table wasn’t property executed?

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Og:image and twitter:image not working as expected@priscillamc done, it worked perfectly, thanks so much again!
Any clues on why this may had happened? I’m having some other problems with that post because of Jetpack Tiled Galleries, first time using them+Gutenberg (I wrote them also here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/tiled-galleries-gutenberg-slow-editor/ ), could that be related?

In reply to: [AMP] Images appearing with higher width than expected@westonruter cool, thanks! Just installed, running it in Native Mode now ??

In reply to: [AMP] Images appearing with higher width than expected@westonruter tried to deactivate Jetpack, but I see no option to go Native AMP. I’m using the Astra Theme (one of the listed here: https://amp-wp.org/ecosystem/themes/ ) but here is no option to choose, it just shows the “Transitional Mode”:

In reply to: [AMP] Images appearing with higher width than expected@westonruter sorry, I forgot to reply to you!
I use several, but the one which seems to be causing most (if not all) of the errors reported by the AMP plugin is Jetpack.
The website seems to work perfectly fine in AMP mode (which is awesome!), but it does not allow me to go full AMP (I suppose because of this errors reported).
Let me know if you need any other info

In reply to: [AMP] Images appearing with higher width than expectedYes, I hope I can move to an “AMP only” site configuration but right now it’s a bit difficult; I tried it on my personal blog, https://www.christianoliveira.com/blog/, using one of the recommended themes here, but plugins cause issues and the AMP pages won’t validate.

In reply to: [AMP] Images appearing with higher width than expected@westonruter thanks so much for your fast and detailed response!
This solved the problem:
.content .wp-caption { max-width: 100%; }
I managed to include it with this plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/amp-custom-css/. It would be nice if the official AMP plugin would allow to include custom CSS directly.
Regarding PageFrog, tried deactivating it but no effect on the issue, so it does not seem related to that.
