In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Can’t reconnect with FB for WC 2.0.1I’m sorry for not being more clear here! My request for the screenshot was for @dmitrybabanov
@mariusgmh if you could please start your own topic, this would be really helpful for us to focus on each issue separately, as we quite often see similar issues have very different underlying causes.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Can’t reconnect with FB for WC 2.0.1Thanks for getting in touch with us about our Facebook for WooCommerce plugin. I’m truly sorry for the frustrations that our plugin’s updates have been causing.
We’re aware that the latest versions of the plugin have some connectivity issues and resolving this is a high priority for us. Our team has coordinated with the Facebook team in the past couple of weeks as they’ve released changes set to improve the connectivity.
Merchants have been experiencing one of two error messages, one with the WooCommerce logo and another with the wrench, so I need a bit more information here.
To better diagnose the problem, could you please send a screenshot of the issue you’re running into?
Thanks!

Thanking for writing in and sharing all the details so far! I’m really sorry for the frustrations that our plugin is causing. I’m happy to help out here.
To make sure I’m understanding where you’re at currently, could you share with me what version of the plugin you’re currently using?
Were you able to connect and now the issue is with pixel and the add to cart events?
Thanks!

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Unable to connect to facebook with Version 2.0.1I understand the hesitation to install the script and it’s no problem ??
When users have run into a similar issue, this was the general error message that they would get (dependent on the site):
You do not have permission to perform this action. This action requires that you can MANAGE_PERMISSIONS on a managing business account. Or it requires that you can MANAGE_PERMISSIONS on this object Note: to use do this action on behalf of a business account the \"business\" field must be set.
This is likely to occur when the Facebook setup process tries to assign the ad account to the system user. This might be happening when the selected Ad Account cannot be managed by the selected Business that the System User belongs to.
The underlying cause for your error might be different, but if you’d be willing to try, we can try the following fix inside Business Manager to see if that helps:
– log into Business Manager
– Make sure to select the same Business that was used in the setup process
– Click Users > System Users
– Select the Partner Created System User and click Add Assets
– Click the Ad Account available for the business, and make sure to toggle the “Manage Ad Account” permission from the right-hand side: https://cloud.skyver.ge/04uq14N6
– Finally, click Save Changes and go through the setup process once more.Could you let me know if the reconnection was successful or if it still throws an error?
Thanks!

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Unable to connect to facebook with Version 2.0.1Thanks for getting back to me with that information! The error message link you sent was a great help as we can see from the link that it could be an account-related permissions issue:
https://connect.woocommerce.com/auth/facebook/error=access_denied&error_code=200&error_description=Permissions+error&error_reason=user_denied&state=
To further investigate this, would it be possible to temporarily install the following snippet in your site and run through setup again? This would print a complete error message that could be really helpful in narrowing down what’s causing the connection issue and help us get closer to the next step.
Here’s the snippet:
add_filter( 'wc_facebook_connection_proxy_url', function() { return 'https://wc-connect-test.skyverge.com/auth/facebook/';} );
You can use a plugin like Code Snippets which allows you to easily add and remove the snippet after we’ve got the error message.
?
?Could you please share the complete error message with me once you’ve gone through this process?
?
?Thanks so much!

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Unable to connect to facebook with Version 2.0.1I’m sorry for the frustration that the new update is still causing. I’ll be happy to look into this for you, or help gather the necessary information to contact Facebook directly.
While Facebook has resolved the issues with the connection, we’re still seeing some account-related permission issues that could be causing the “Something went wrong” error on the WooCommerce connection page after completing the Facebook setup.
As a first step, would it be possible to uninstall the plugin and run through the setup process one more time?
To install the plugin with a clean slate, please navigate to WooCommerce > Facebook and click the Uninstall link next to the Manage Connection button. Here’s what that looks like: https://cln.sh/bXyvOJ
This resets the data in the plugin on the WooCommerce side and revokes access to the account on the Facebook side. This should refresh the page and allow you to select the Get Started button again. We’ve seen that installing on a clean slate has worked for some merchants.
Could you please let me know when that’s been done and if it allows you to connect to Facebook?
Thanks,

In reply to: [Product SKU Generator for WooCommerce] Not work in Woocommerce 4.0.0Hi @preiffer
It has been a long time since we heard from you, so I’m going to mark this topic as resolved. If you’re still experiencing issues please take a look at our documentation for more information and create a new thread if you have further questions.

In reply to: [Product SKU Generator for WooCommerce] Not work in Woocommerce 4.0.0Hi @preiffer
Thank you for contacting us about our WooCommerce Product SKU Generator plugin. I’m happy to help out here!
Our plugin is fully compatible with WooCommerce 4.3.2 so it shouldn’t be causing any issues. The error you’re seeing might be a plugin or theme conflict.
Could you please disable all plugins, then use one of the default Twenty themes, and see if this resolves the issue? If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.
You could do the above manually or install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. It will add some additional features under Tools > Site Health.
On its troubleshooting tab, you can Enable Troubleshooting Mode. This will disable all plugins, switch to a standard WordPress theme (if available), allow you to turn your plugins on and off and switch between themes, without affecting normal visitors to your site. This allows you to test for various compatibility issues.
Could you give this a try and let me know how it goes?
Thanks!

In reply to: [Facebook for WooCommerce] Connection Integration ErrorHi @mughal222
Thanks for getting in touch with us about our Facebook for WooCommerce plugin! I’m sorry to hear that our plugin’s connection to Facebook isn’t working as expected.
The error message you’re seeing seems to be caused by an issue where we are working closely with Facebook to troubleshoot. Resolving this is high priority for us as it has affected a number of merchants using our plugin. We continue to provide the Facebook team with all the information they need to troubleshoot this further.
We currently don’t have an estimated time for this fix, however, there have been several changes throughout the last few days and we’ve had some users confirming that they were able to reconnect. That being said, I’d recommend to try going through the setup process once more and if that doesn’t work, you can roll back to the previous version of our plugin for the time being. You can find instructions to roll back here.
Would you please try going through the setup process again and let us know if reconnecting was successful?
Cheers,
Christine
