In reply to: [Better YOURLS] Not recognizing existing shortlinksHey Matt!
Just checking in to let you know I haven’t forgotten about this. Assuming nothing blows up on me I’m planning on having an update that might help you either the wee of the 13th or the week of the 20th of this month.

In reply to: [Better YOURLS] Not recognizing existing shortlinksFair enough. I’ve been looking at an excuse to do something with this plugin. I’ll take a look at adding something for this.

In reply to: [Better YOURLS] Not recognizing existing shortlinksNormally this is handled by your YOURLs instance. There are actually two modes, one allows duplicates and one doesn’t. Are you looking for a feature to support this independently within the plugin?
Admittedly that isn’t a use case I had considered but I’ll add it to the todo list. With a little luck I’ll have some more time to dig into it this week.
Hmm. Are you still wanting ShareDaddy to run, just without the short url?
just caught this 2nd thread. Any update on the fix release?
I’m seeing the same issue after updating to PHP7.1. A trace is showing the following error:
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: [] operator not supported for strings in […]plugins/events-manager/classes/em-events.php on line 63

In reply to: [Better YOURLS] TokenLog into your YOURLs admin and click “tools” in the top left corner. It is a little past halfway down the page.
It does sound like perhaps you have found a bug. Given your circumstances I would recommend searching https://github.com/10up/ElasticPress/issues for your issue and posting it there if not found.

In reply to: [Better YOURLS] how to create only httpS UrlThis is something you’ll need to look at YOURLs core for as it is the “decider” of what is is unique. That said, perhaps a hook in the create_yourls_url function to allow for filtering the URL before a shortlink is generated would be helpful in your case. Is that what you’re looking for?

In reply to: [Better YOURLS] recommendation: why? Thanks Jim. I’ll take a look at the docs and see about improving on them a bit.

In reply to: [Brightcove Video Connect] Users upload(frontend)Currently that is not a feature we are working on. If this is something you would like to see I would recommend contacting Brightcove directly with the request: Either https://go.brightcove.com/forms/contact-sales or logging in with your account should take you to the appropriate request point.

In reply to: [Brightcove Video Connect] Empty Settings Page (no error on error log)Can you please check your browser console? This sounds to me like a JavaScript error somewhere.
Thank for the report. I will add this to the queue for an upcoming release.
