Yes, this is working now!
Thank you!
Hello, thx for your reply.
I changed the shortcode to event_categories=”events-seminars”, but it still shows all the events from all categories.I used exactly your shortcode example: [events per_page=”15″ show_filters=”false” event_categories=”events-seminars” orderby=”event_start_date” order=”DESC”]
And the titleform of the event-category is also correct.
I am using it in elementor content builder, but it worked fine before the last or pre-last plugin update.
Hello Priya,
ok, overwriting the plugins template files is not that problem.
But how do i insert the new custom field in the overwritten template file? Which code do i have to insert there?
Thank you for your help.@dblincoe Guess you can change just the wording of it to whatever you want by editing the translation files (.po files) of the plugin. There is a good explanation for doing this in the documentation/faq of the plugin.
@turansaim I had exactly the same problem as you which i already asked in the support-forum here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/every-event-is-shown-as-online-event-and-location-anywhere/
You can just hit the reset-button below the event-form-field-editor and so it will reset the fields to standard value and this strange problem is gone then. When i got this same problem, i had also deleted the GoogleMaps-Location-Field like you did, because i did not need two adress fields with the same value in it. I guess that the deleting of the standard field “Location (for Google)” produces this failure.
Hi Hitesh,
yes we use the plugin Polylang on this website.
And i already had looked in all the settings of Polylang.
But thank you very much for your hint!
I got the problem fixed now. As you said, there was a settings-conflict between one specific url-setting-function of the Plugin Polylang and the automatic language-switch of the wp-event-manager-plugin. I found out by try and error of the different url-settings in Polylang Plugin.
THANK YOU!
