The plugin disables itself to avoid breaking the post and page editor but the localization features are still functional.
The QT_*_SUPPORTED_WP_VERSION constants are a feature of the original qTranslate and we do not have any plan to remove it.

We’ve started working on this compatibility issue but we have not find any suitable solution at this time.
WP Jump Menu does not use the action hooks to init itself and it executes some source code from mqTranslate before our plugin is completely initialized.

This issue has been resolved and the fix will be available in the next update.

I saw the request from Qian Qin on the last update of qTranslate. I would be glad to help if I can, but mqTranslate is a side project for us and we do not have a precise roadmap for future updates. So I am not sure that we will be able to push more features or improvements as fast as users expect it.

I will contact Qian Qin to offer my help though.

I’ve bookmarked to performance improvements page you suggested and hope we will implement some of them in a near future.

Concerning your other question, no there is no way to clear localized elements automatically.

We just released a plugin update to fix bbPress compatibility issues.
Both plugins should know work correctly together.

If you add translations to Disqus, the plugin should update its localized messages accordingly with the frontend and backend current language.

It seems that the Disqus Comment System plugin only provides the english default translation.

Starting from there, you have two options:

• Find translations for the plugin
• Proceed to a translation of the plugin

You may eventually find some further information searching Google with “disqus comment system translations”. For example:

mqTranslate has not been tested against bbPress (I don’t know if the original qTranslate has ever been tests against it either). However, we will proceed to a test as soon as possible and try to make it compatible.
